Daphne the Nimph

This is my interpretation of Daphe the nimph, who was chaced by the Greek god Apollo and cried to her father, god of the river, for help. Her dear father heard her cries, but had a weird sence of humor, so he turned her into a tree. Apollo, who was still madly in love with her, therefor picked some barks from this tree and used it as a crown. In Greece this tree should be still called Daphne.
